Daily Duties at Kershaw County Dept. Of Mental Health :
Social Work: Serve as part of a multidisciplinary assessment team: social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists and nurses. Perform biopsychosocial assessments with diagnoses and treatment recommendations. Serve as cotherapist for individual sessions utilizing CBT, behavioral and psychodynamic methodologies. Conduct comprehensive substance abuse assessments, provide treatment, and facilitate in-patient referrals. Co-facilitate group therapy sessions.
