Outsourcing Manager • Managed outsourcing of projects for design and drafting work between Caterpillar Paving in North America and India. • Developed the "Right First Time" simplified release process that increased the right first time rate from 75% up to 96% a 12 month period. • Managed, coordinated, and presented weekly teleconference meeting with teams in India to trouble shoot and implement Caterpillars zero defect engineering philosophy and improve communication between our facilities. Mechanical Designer • Coordinator of drafting/design work between RFA and Caterpillar. • Pro/E Drafting and Design on military, road construction, and agricultural equipment. • An instructor on the process for Detailing, Design, and ECOs. • Led the First Call initiative to the Consumer Gas & Diesel Generator Set production line support. • Worked directly with customers, applying my knowledge and experience to find solutions to meet their needs and requirements.
