Daily Duties at Ford Motor Co.:

Responsible for all plant in process, product development, outsource testing, engineering and technician interface for all testing needs. 19+ years of vehicle product design, equipment design, build and component level testing including testing, design, build up and final throughput. Coordinate component design requirements between development groups and suppliers i.e. mechanical, electrical, plastics design etc. Maintain a cost effective method of purchasing lab supplies allowing for a cost reduction of over 20% Maintained accounts receivable and accounts payable records for a 2 million dollar testing operation. Manage project design activities to insure delivery to schedule, cost and quality. Knowledge of Labview, test method development, data analysis and report writing. Provide staffing, training, communication and development of employees. Complete vehicle instrumentation including pressure transducers, thermal couples and strain gauges. Troubleshoot problems by inspection and discussion with other lab personnel to determine the best course of action to resolve the condition. Design and implementation of new policies and procedures. Build, design and verifying complex test fixtures and measurement equipment. Insures that CAD files and drawing revisions are held concurrent with the Product Data and testing methods. Create and track testing purchase orders within the lab for all testing requirements. Maintain required safety training and lab cleanliness. Conduct annual employee performance reviews. Conduct meetings with management and lab personnel. TS16949 standard and Q-9000 experience. Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and research methods. Excellent communication and grammatical skills: verbal, via telephone and written.
