Daily Duties at American Association Of Diabetes Educators:
Plan continuing education programs (ensuring they meet Accrediting Agencies specifications) for diabetes educators and other healthcare personnel. Oversee Provider Unit and Approver Unit activities. Manage Board Certified-Advanced Diabetes Management Program. Manage Approver Unit Associate. One of my activities was to make money by our educational webinar programs. Upon my arrival they were doing one a month, so I set forth the plan of 2 per month . I used my contacts with Diabetes Specialists around the US to be the speakers, along with a few diabetes companies and we doubled the income. I also used the approach of the first time in the month having part one and the second showing having part two of the same topic and that had not been done before and proved to be very successful.
