Daily Duties at Signature Healthcare Spring City Care And Rehab:
Over saw all financial operations of a Skilled Care Nursing Home. I managed processes such as: A/R, A/P, Payroll, H/R, Benefits Coordinator, Staffing, Patient Trust Accounts, Bank Reconciliations, and all billing functions, (Medicare and Medicaid).I was part of the Compliance team to ensure procedures and facility maintained compliance with State regulation and guidelines. I worked directly with Department of Human Services to get families approved for Medicaid and other Government programs. I also worked with Admissions and Marketing Directors to develop census and headed up quality of life programs. I reported directly to the Administrator, Regional Manager, and Corporate office on financial matters including asset management. I prepared and reviewed the financial statements and did the facility month end close. I set and tracked budgets for each department, led the Medicare and MDS meetings. I also served as Assistant Administrator and participated in Train the Trainer programs. I managed staff of 25-30.
