Daily Duties at Sterling Healthcare:
I managed all financial operations of a Skilled Care Nursing Home. I managed and was responsible for all A/R, A/P, Payroll, H/R, Staffing, and Resident Trust Accounts. I was Compliance manager and worked with D.O.N to ensure procedures and facility maintained compliance with State regulation and guidelines. I managed all bank activities including reconciliations, A/R (Medicare and Medicaid). I coordinated meetings with Department of Human Services to get Medicaid and other government programs approved for families. Worked with Admissions and Marketing on census development, I lead a team that headed up quality of life programs. I did direct financial reporting to the Administrator, Regional Manager, and Corporate office on financial matters. Reviewed financial statements and did the facility month end close. Set and tracked budgets for each department. Lead the Medicare and MDS meetings. Project leader for setting up Electronic Health Records implementation for the facility. I managed various levels of staff including RN’s, LPN’s, and Assistants. I also managed all front office staff.
