Daily Duties at U Sinternetworking, Inc.:
Managed support of 500+ development and production database systems simultaneously on a variety of HA Unix and MS-NT/2000 platforms. Demonstrated ability to lead high degree complexity projects through the system development life-cycle through implementation. Planned, tested and implemented Oracle database backup and recovery procedures including Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Data Guard, and Shareplex Advanced Replication. Facilitated client discussions and assessments of data, hardware, software, network and security requirements to ensure the delivery of optimal database solutions. Provided daily operational support of database migrations, software upgrades and patch installations. Provided timely troubleshooting and technical resolutions in response to Netcool monitors alerts, application and system change requests and Siebel Call Center trouble tickets. Worked in a team environment to achieve individual objectives and organizational results. Ensured critical issues were identified, tracked and resolved. Responsible for issue reporting. Managed daily/weekly project communication and status reporting.
