Daily Duties at Walmart Stores, Inc.:

Responsible for the merchandising and operations of a $65 million dollar sales unit. Leading, directing, and mentoring merchandising teams and management in the execution of company directives, supervising 220 associates and 8 salaried managers. Staffing and coaching associates for the successful attainment of performance goals. Analyzing performance metrics and P&L performance. Review daily inventory, invoicing, cash office, and personell reports. Review merchandising playbooks and assign priorities with staff and follow up to ensure timely execution. Tour the store daily and review merchandising strategies are executed timely with focus on fresh, frozen, and seasonal areas. Review staffing needs and approve work schedules. Review budgets and set sales and expense goals for the upcoming year. Review performance standards of staff and execute annual evaluations. Review and respond to all customer issues daily.
