Daily Duties at Vha:

• Facilitate and develop the Supply Network clinical subcommittees and clinical involvement process. • Performed independent clinical research, develop clinical evaluation tools and clinical communication plans, implementation plans, presentations and reports as appropriate to assist members in understanding methods and processes required to achieve measurable results. • Chaired all Clinical Subcommittee’s for Mid America Service Solutions including clinical preference and Physician preference. Examples include Topical skin adhesives, Advanced Wound Care, Peripheral Vascular, and Electrosurgery. • Provided clinical and strategic expertise that facilitates supply expense management while continuously improving all processes that support patient care, education and research. • Established streamline method for evaluating clinical products, including physician preference with a goal of high levels of standardization/utilization financial performance measurements. • Obtained over $2 million in savings through validation/implementation of contract initiatives.
