Daily Duties at Illinois State Toll Highway Authority (I.S.T.H.A):

Provide Customer Service to the motoring public. Process the traffic quickly and efficiently. In addition to handling the traffic -Taking tolls and being on call 24/7. I was in charge of my shift, typically 4-5 people. I was responsible for collecting my crews money banks, their deposit of revenue collected for the shift and the balancing of a 7-10,000 safe. I would communicate with management through a plaza log, write permits, follow procedure for accidents at the plaza in the lanes and personal injures of the workers at the plaza.
