Daily Duties at Artesyn Technologies, Inc.:
Reported to President and established and developed company’s first sales contract review process and in-house legal group. Drove complex multi-million dollar negotiations, including drafting contracts, with distributors and Fortune 500 and smaller customers. Re-drafted and implemented distribution agreements with all distributors with vice presidents of sales and distribution; master procurement contract. Helped lead resolution of major distributor termination dispute. Supervised 2 contract specialist negotiators (one with J.D.). Delivered consultation to manage and resolve major electronic component commodity vendor and subcontract (custom-made equipment) claims and disputes; sales rep employment, risk management, credit/finance, export/import compliance advisor, and other corporate issues.
