Daily Duties at Dtc Communications Inc A Cobham Tactical & Surveillance:
Collaborated with product engineers to establish new product lines on production floor. Worked with Production Management to implement new programs and managed through the production life cycle. Teamed up with production/engineering to correctly reflect material usage and ensured Bill of Materials (BOM) validity through Engineering Change Orders. Reconciled labor and materials on job BOM for accuracy. Coordinated Return to Manufacturer Authorizations (RMA) through repair department. Identified and implemented capacity requirements for machines and labor, requisitioned materials, monitored production schedules, and reconciled completed production schedules and job orders. Determined material requirements for build cycle and coordinated with Purchasing. Reviewed weekly and monthly production schedules and forecasts. Planned schedule 6-10 weeks out for product lines. Created and maintained Production schedule. Scheduled and coordinated production in high-tech environment using ERP techniques. Conducted daily Production staff meetings to assure flow through production to meet customer demand and Production schedule. Acted as liaison between manufacturing production, sales and accounting. Established job order priorities. Issued job paperwork and dispatched lists to shop floor. Performed Routing Maintenance.
