Daily Duties at Symantec:

Work with business stakeholders to understand goals, requirements, and success criteria. Position value of Symantec in terms of importance to the customer, utilizing business value analysis tools when needed Develop a documented business plan that aligns the strategy and activities of my extended team with revenue goals. Ensure execution through weekly team calls and formal quarterly business reviews. Utilize Chatter to collaborate and provide continual communication. Develop sales opportunities through account research, organizational mapping, leveraging relationships, and cold calling. Manage the entire sales cycle through Salesforce.com for pipeline management, forecasting, and resource engagement. Partner with resellers, system integrators, and government relations firms to increase sales. Measure individual performance against an operational plan which includes KPIs for bookings, customer activity, executive engagement, forecasting accuracy, pipeline, and employee development; consistently ranking at the top of my team in performance. Provided mentoring to several new hires to assist them in learning Symantec’s resources.
