Daily Duties at International General Insurance Co.:

Underwriting Responsibilities: • Supervision of the Aviation department, ensuring optimal performance. • Handling all aspects of underwriting, claims, risk selection, reinsurance placements, rating new risks, negotiating conditions and terms, studying the NRM for the renewal risks. • Calculating the Possible Maximum Loss (PML) and drafting a quotation with the necessary terms, conditions and clauses. • Maintain excellent relationship with the intermediaries, clients and the sales personnel (Brokers). • Record technical underwriting data regarding the profiling of the underwriting book of business. Business Analysis Responsibilities: • Business analysis for the General Aviation Insurance/ Reinsurance Department. • Generated monthly reports in terms of current status. i.e. Growth, gross and net profit, loss ratio, exposure etc… • Generating Aviation excess of loss reports for our reinsurers-London /per aircraft on a monthly basis. • Generating core program reinsurance report which includes hull and liability exposure layers along with earned premium, per country, broker, leader, etc… • Created a rate modeling system which enables us to determine which accounts fit with our current portfolio based on region, uses and burn of losses.
