Daily Duties at S.C. Probation/Parole & Pardon Service:
Direct supervision of adult Probationers and Parolees. Duties include one on one supervision of up to 170 offenders. Areas of supervision included employemt, reporting, income, payment of supervision fees, fines, and restitution as ordered by the Court or Board. Offenders were monitored for community compliance to include verification of residence and employment. Regular home and community visits were conducted to secure feedback from family and neighbors regarding offender stability. All arrests and conviction violations were investigated and staffed for violation follow-up. Violators were subsequently arrested and presented to the Court or Board for disposition.
