Daily Duties at Ford Motor Company Automotive Components Holdings Division:
As a forward model quality engineer I launched new suppliers from the initial sourcing to product launch through Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) procedures. Determine high and low impact suppliers at the initial stages of a product through first site assesment procedures and the collaboration of our purchasing and design teams. Responsible of the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) quality data documentation approval of individual supplier components according to the internal company standard and ISO/ TS requirements. Complete the on site audit and evaluations of capacity run at rates, process flows, process failure mode analysis (PFMEA’s), control plans and work instructions. Resolve all launch issues through 8D process and techniques for 90 days after product launch through continuous customer feedback and our internal safe launch procedure.
