Additional job elements include equipment disassembly, examining parts for damage or excessive wear, assembly and repair of gear systems and subassembly components, track frame alignments, transmission repair and maintenance, and repairing closed loop hydraulic systems, and monitoring the performance of computerized monitoring systems and the sensors that control them. Additional skill sets include work order write-ups, part and supply ordering, inventory control, use of power and air tools, welding, advanced oxyacetylene cutting, and conducting field repairs.
