Daily Duties at Hartsdale Imaging:
Maintain and manage the schedule of high volume 65+ patients per day to ensure prompt patient service and on time performance. Review the patient paperwork for accuracy and pertinent information and review the safety screen when required as well as perform MRI, CT , Bone Density and x-ray procedures. Additionally I supervised a staff of 6 technologists. Scheduling their hours as well as monitoring their performance and all training of the staff in procedures and patient safety. I performed inventory control by keeping logs of supplies on hand and for the ordering of all medical supplies.I marketed the facility to area physicians and medical groups utilizing filmed images as well as showing slide shows of images on a laptop. In conjunction with the business manager I negotiated all service contracts on the equipment and did all the research and investigation for all equipment purchases. I performed the Daily QA and was responsible for the successful implementation of American College of Radiology certifications as well as meeting all regulatory requirements.
What they like about Hartsdale Imaging:
Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
