Daily Duties at Westchester Medical Imaging Services:

I supervised a staff of 15 Technologists. I was responsible for Quality Assurance and compliance with all regulatory agencies as well as ACR certifications for our services. I was responsible for the implementation of an inventory control system and the ordering of all medical supplies. I interfaced with the 15 Radiologists, Radiology Equipment and supply vendors, regulators ( Department of Health, Joint Commission),the director of operations and the management company, refering physicians and their staffs as well as patients. I negotiated all service and repair contracts for the equipment and equipment purchases and presented them to my superiors for approval. Additionally I assisted the marketing of the facility to the outside physician community by visiting offices and showing images and describing our services. I also performed MRI's daily, x-rays when needed as well as CT scans when needed and bone densitometry when needed.
