Daily Duties at Axter:

Researching positron annihilation spectroscopy techniques for 3-dimenstional defect density mapping in regards to nondestructive testing. Visiting scientific investigator, Idaho State University, Idaho Accelerator Center. Project manager assisting with development and coordinating research into nondestructive techniques such as positron annihilation spectroscopy, photon activation analysis, and mono-energetic x-rays. Coordinating graduate student research and experiments in the area of positron annihilation lifetime and energy spectroscopy. Managing graduate and undergraduate students on a variety of research projects including digital data acquisition and development of portal monitors for radiation detection.
