Daily Duties at Parsons Savannah Services:
Westinghouse Savannah River Company Provided design support for Heat Trace System for High Level Waste F-Tank Farm Service Piping Upgrades Projects. Assisted in site walk downs for field verification to ensure design was constructible prior to final design. Provided design support for upgrades to the existing Fire Detection System in the Effluent Treatment Facility (ETF) in 241-81H. Initiating devices, notification appliances, auxiliary relays, and alarm points between fire detection panels. Provided design support for a new Programmable Fire Detection System in 735-A and 735-11A. Assisted in the design of initiating devices, notification appliances, and shutdown controls for the existing HVAC system. Provided electrical and instrumentation design support for the Tritium Administration Facility in 246-H. Assisted in the design of the electrical distribution system, manual initiated fire protection occupant notification, fire detection, lighting communications, ground and lighting protection systems. Provided design support for the installation of a new Programmable Fire Detection System , lighting system, grounding system, power system, and communications system in 703-44A. I also provided design support for the following projects at WSRC: F-Tank Farm Temperature Recorder Upgrades Electrical and Instrumentation Upgrades of 105 and 108 K & L Instrument Air Upgrades Building 299-2H Compressor Cooling Water Systems Upgrades Electrical and Instrumentation design and specification for building 241-49H & 241-64H Air Compressor Upgrades Lighting and Receptacle Design in the Tritium Administration Facility and ROBOF Compressor Buildings 244H and 245H Responsible for the electrical and instrumentation design, construction support, PDMS input, card status reports and start-up support for storm water upgrades in H-Area tank farm. This project included the installation of sluice gates with the building 241-2H DCS Controls as well as hardwired control for gates associated with the 242-1H control room.
