Daily Duties at Healthsouth Medical Center :
Interdisciplinary coordinator, facilitated the delivery of services to patients and family members. Managed the financial resources by communicating with payor sources. Updated insurance case managers weekly to insure continued authorization. Insured that treatment was timely and cost effective. Initiated and facilitated team meetings to discuss progress and discharge plans and any issues that could interfere with discharge. Served as case manager for spinal cord team and pulmonary team. Arranged home health care and ordered all needed DME.
