• Managed all the CRT operation, through a team of 18 members 2 direct reports responsible for 700 associates. • Held multifunctional management responsibilities, including manpower requirements, production plan analysis, optimized changeovers, process analysis to reduce waste. • Prepared annual Budget for every production area based on projected demand from sales department and balanced it with installed capacity. • Develop manufacturing strategies through line balancing maximizing production output and productivity. • Improve quality thru Kaizen activities, responsible for creating the team and providing them with the basic tools to analyze, solve problems and maintain the gains. • SMED implementation in the Screen area• Managed 4 general supervisors, 8 supervisors with 500 associates • Coordinate the transfer of the operation from Santa Ana California to Mexicali BC. $100M project. Completing the project in 4 months. • Elaborate the capacity analysis, cross training implementation, critical operations identification, method analysis to improve learning curve. • Establish production flow and layout for all subassemblies, cells implementation, value stream mapping, involve direct personnel in the kaizen activities. • Reduce scrap thru Kaizen events, use of statistical tools in order to identify areas of opportunities. • Coordinate the prototype group and provide them with friendly designs to assure mass production and low variability process.
