Daily Duties at Fed Ex Home Deliver:

 Planned, opened and directed operations for a FedEx Home Delivery Terminal.  Led a team of 2 managers, 2 clerks, 30-40 drivers and 11+ package handlers with accountability for managing a class “B” terminal inbound and outbound operation.  Provided training, development and orientation to driver service representatives and dock personnel in order to achieve performance goals.  Consistently met and exceeded service, Dock Labor Hour, productivity, accident/injury frequency, Data Quality Index, and Service Quality Index goals.  Acted as point-of-contact with key customers to drive sales.  Analyzed industry trends and implemented strategies to enhance customer service.  Promoted and implemented safety programs including DOT and OSHA and audit compliance. Responsible for overseeing safety and safety training programs.  Implemented employee relations to minimize turnover.  Created city delivery routes and utilized logistic skills to meet customer demands while maintaining a cost effective operations.  Adjusted line-haul runs according to daily projections.  In-depth knowledge of transportation industry, satellite operations and contractors with accountability for all drivers, customer service, sales, facility management, scheduling and logistics.  Implemented strategies to ensure cost effective and productivity goals.  Recruited, hired, trained, motivated, developed and evaluated independent contractors, drivers and management personnel along with support personnel.  Monitored performance with responsibility for ensuring effective customer service efficient operations.  Maintained monthly budgets and allocated resources; handled accounts payable.  Implemented business development and sales strategies with accountability for managing key accounts.
