Daily Duties at Feed The Children:
Managed a staff of 12 personnel, which included but was not limited to providing directions, leadership, and development to ensure an efficient operation. Our department was responsible for the placement of all non-monetary donations. Worked with non profit 501(c)3 agencies to place product, moved product into our warehouses to provide product for disasters, food boxes, hygiene boxes, literacy programs, international programs, feeding centers, shelters, etc. Utilized logistics skills to ensure product was available for food drops, events, disasters, feeding programs, etc.; while maintaining costs. Implemented a team atmosphere and cross training process to ensure positions were covered due to absence, etc. which created better productivity and better communication.
