Daily Duties at Advance Pierre Foods:

• Translate consensus plan into an inventory plan, collaborating with Co-Packers to meet production, transportation and warehousing to ensure that inventory is managed to constraints and targets are aligned with the business strategy. • Analyze stock age for finished goods inventories and action on SLOB inventory. • Minimize transportation costs by optimizing trailer capacity and effective truck building, while rebalancing inventory in the network to fulfill orders. • Manage inventory in support of major events i.e., item launch, promotions, new distribution, etc. • Processing purchase orders/transfer orders/invoices • Analyze past performance to identify opportunities and create corrective action for improving inventory management performance. • Purchasing module one or more ERP systems/SCM systems • Report on a weekly basis the performance of the items assigned based on KPI’s given.
