Daily Duties at Diageo:

Warehouse manager for 8 crews for a 24/7 facility. Currently oversee 42 warehouse associates. My responsibilities are staffing, hiring, interviewing,training, overtime approval, payroll, discipline, 1 to 1's with all associates, engagement with all operators,staging of materials for the 48 hours, ensuring all inbound materials are received into SAP, all outbound loads are closed out accurately into SAP, reconciliation for bottles is done every 4 hours, PINC our yard management system is recording accurate data and communicated if issues arise, all diverted loads are accounted for since we use 4 locations and not all of them are on our PINC system(this ensures we do not order more materials and that we have everything needed for 48 hours ahead of the run), work with liquid developers and packaging engineers on all new launches and projects so materials are on hand for all trials, work direct with Network Supply who orders all materials on any changes and updates with the schedule, updates with the 5 day bible and the 48 hours worth of materials each week, daily meetings at 9am/10am/1pm and other meetings as they persist.
