Daily Duties at Jupiter Police Department:
➢ Commander in charge of all Internal Affairs functions ➢ Managed and assisted in developing department budget ($18.1 million) ➢ Supervised accreditation functions, evidence, recruitment, and training ➢ Assumed command of Investigative Bureau which is comprised of 2 sergeants and 30 sworn and civilian personnel following unplanned transition, June 2010. Maintained current District Lieutenant duties to include working with community members until permanent promotion to Captain in February 2011 ➢ Established procedures for monitoring and reducing overtime expenditures ➢ Internal Affairs investigator completing numerous administrative inquiries and complex investigations involving use of force or other significant issues
