Daily Duties at Wfio:

Managed teams of photographers, photojournalists, reporters and correspondence across over 100 nations, providing proficient photo editing, staffing, scheduling, guidance, and unique production solutions for my employer and its clients. Produced and delivered high quality programming for a variety of international broadcast clients, as well as created, directed, and produced documentary film productions and daily television programing for WFIO through cost-effective and time-efficient means. Established remote broadcast stations worldwide, within otherwise inaccessible locations, locating and training local staff, producing news and television programing, and establishing unique new broadcast abilities including creating remote program and transmission abilities, enabling WFIO to establish itself as a leading remote broadcast provider and developer. Directed development and design of the company’s website, later directing content editorial and photo editing duties and creating methods of online media delivery, which overall helped develop a new line of customer base through the public and a popular paid members area. Created and implemented a training platform, schooling and guiding local staff throughout the world on camera operations, editing, producing, and broadcasting. This created a unique broadcast and newswire system, and built WFIO as a premier news based image bank and news wire, along with establishing over 350 new careers within developing areas. Covered worldwide photographic and film assignments across Africa, the Middle East and Asia, focusing on war, politics, and human rights issues, placing over 10,000 still images and 5000 hours of footage within WFIO’s image bank.

What they like about Wfio:

You give high priority to hiring firms with prestige. Market reputation and prestige of a firm may be determined through on-line research, and conversations with individuals working in your target industry. Note that firms "in the public eye" receive a great deal more critical publicity and attention than those operating with more anonymity. So as you assess your employment opportunities, be sure to seek out the positive aspects of the firm's reputation in addition to noting negative publicity the company may have received.
