Daily Duties at Pacific Health Corporation:

Manage all points of registration, billing, collections and multiple computer systemsfor a centralized business office Implemented and maintain a contract management system for the calculation of multiple contracts including DRG’s and APC’s. for four hospital business offices, Anaheim General Hospital, Bellflower Medical Center, Los Angeles Metropolitan Medical Center and Newport Specialty Hospital. Extensive knowledge in acute care as well as long term care, sub-acute and psychiatric services billing. Trained staff for four business offices in the use of claims administrator and hospital host system. Responsible for installation and management of claims administrator for the purpose of electronic billing and on line editing. Work closely with CFO and VP of finance on month end reporting and department projections and forecasting. Assist the contract manager in the negotiations of hospital contracts. Implementation of document scanning system in order to achieve a paperless billing environment. Maintain and manage hospital wide charge master. Work closely with all department directors in implementing and maintaining changes with regard to revenue cycle, cpt-4 code and hcpc code changes, case management and medical records.
