Daily Duties at Golden Living Center:

Responsible for the independent supervision of the delivery of care to a group of residents in a nursing unit. Assessed resident needs, developed individual care plans, administered nursing care, evaluated nursing care, and supervised Care Specialists (CNAs) and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care. Administered prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques. Observed patient reactions to drugs, treatments and significant incidents and notified supervisor. Reviewed patient reports of patient’s general physical conditions, reactions to medications and medical history. Responded to written and telephone requests for problems resolutions. Maintained close personal contact with caregivers and patients. Successfully handled crisis situations with family members of dying patients. Demonstrated effective presentation skills.
