Daily Duties at Aptina, Llc:
- Manage facility repairs and maintenance by serving as local contact for internal customers and vendors including janitorial, vending, electrical, plumbing, painting, recycling, facilities supplies, security services, fire detection and monitoring - Plan, organize and oversee remodeling and rearrangement of facilities - Systems administrator for access control systems and security programs for various sites(San Jose, Oregon and United Kingdom campuses) - Facilitated and coordinated involvements of IT, Security, EH&S, Furniture, Ergonomics, Space Planning/Relocation - Assessed the condition of electrical, air conditioning, plumbing and other essential facilities equipment and ensured that the equipment and other areas of facilities were working properly - Initiated interventions to solve facility problems - Developed and maintained as-built drawings, warranties, service manuals, permits, and lien releases in closeout phase - Initiated an active campaign on building safety measures, prepared pertinent records and reports for the safety service division of the institution - Developed and maintained global employee listing, AutoCAD Floor plans, corporate real estate documentation and employee photo library - Prepared preliminary budgets, project plans, finalized project costs, obtained approvals and coordinated with corporate procurement for setting up contractual agreements, purchase requisitions, and processed purchase orders - Recruited, trained, managed and evaluated facilities contract service staff and other subordinates to ensure competent work output - Coordinated with other offices and units to provide support on issues beyond the scope of the facilities department
