Daily Duties at P&W Paging & Wireless :
Diagnostic testing,and repair to the component level of hand held, mobile and base wireless pagers,radios and tower repeaters. Using various wave generators, power supplies, electrical meters and o-scopes. Conducted training to other technicians on pager/radio functions and detailed circuit analysis. Perform upgrades and modifications to pagers in the UHF/VHF/LF frequency range. Program various pagers, mobile and base units according to individual customer requirements and needs. Record and log data on all received and repaired units. This aids the Technician in spotting failure analysis trends on units from specific manufactures. Interpret circuit functions using Schematics and manufacturer tech manuals and publications. When finished interface with billing and go over the order to insure accurate and timely delivery and correct billing. Technical assistance and problem analysis to customers over the telephone to insure proper operation and customer confidence calling in
