Daily Duties at Health South Rehabitation Hospital :
Regular calls to territory hospitals, doctor's offices, nursing facilities and clinics about patient referrals. Completion of patient referral form, to include patient history, current disability and plan of treatment. Work to develop new patient referral sources by networking and cold calling to potential customers. Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports; such as daily call reports, weekly work plans and monthly territory analysis. Maintains professional and technical knowledge, by attending educational workshops and participating in professional societies. Working with patient and family about discharge planning and specific needs.
