Daily Duties at Us Air Force:

Advised on and solved installation, maintenance, and repair problems by studying schematic and technical publications. Diagnosed malfunctions and recommended corrective action. Implemented maintenance and safety policies for egress systems. Performed scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on egress systems. Removed and installed egress systems. Ensured egress explosive cartridge activated devices (CAD) and pressure activated devices (PAD) were safe and disarmed prior to performing maintenance. Performed operational and functional tests of egress systems, subsystems, and components using test equipment and test kits. Applied corrosion control procedures to escape systems and related components. Operated and maintained related SE. Used the automated maintenance system to monitor maintenance trends, analyzed equipment requirements, maintained equipment records, documented maintenance actions, and time change database. Performed integrity inspections of the escape system. Inspected egress systems, subsystems, and components for safety, security, and serviceability. Inspected and determines serviceability of CAD and PAD devices based on shelf and service life limits. Used and disposed of hazardous waste and materials according to environmental standards.
