Daily Duties at American Greetings Corporation:

• Manage/supervise over order assemblers • Accountable for making sure orders are filled and sent out in a timely manner for the customers • Responsible for canceling orders internally and externally sent from world head quarters • Work in DC11 to select orders, check ship-to-arrive dates on orders, cancel orders, etc. • Work in TMS to cancel orders, set-up trailers, and ship orders. • Work in OSS to build, create, and assign sorter/manual fill waves for five sorter teams • Create full and regular sorter waves • Make sure each sorter is running effectively and efficiently • Assign 150,000 + sorter waves on a daily basis • Flag 6,000+ packages daily for quality control to check • Work in Order Filling Workload spreadsheet on a daily basis to keep track of wave percentages, assigned/unassigned waves, completed waves, manual, accessory, and prepacks waves, order selections, and carton counts • Run Daily 10 report to give break down of each brand left to complete. Ex. AG, Canada, Tender Thoughts, etc. • Run Ship-to-Arrive Report to keep track of open stock, accessory, and prepack assortments
