Daily Duties at Woonsocket Health Center:

As 11-7a charge nurse, I usually watched over two units. On more than one occasion, I had 3 units. Narcotic accountability, pass meds, do wound treatments, nebulizer treatments, and did the best I could to take care of all the residents(150),assess for pain, skin integrity, feed G-Tube patients, check O2 saturations, and O2 concentrators, report off to on coming shift on all units. I worked there for 7 months, then was laid off. They had hired many new GNs for less money than I was being paid. I was informed I could collect unemployment. I was hired that same week by Trinity.

What they like about Woonsocket Health Center:

Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.
