Developed Continuing Education Programs for healthcare professionals and gave multiple public and professional presentations. Assisted Managed Care and Government Account Executives in pulling through accounts and formularies. Volunteered at diabetes related organizations such as American Diabetes Associaton, etc. Gained sales experience necessary for entry into medical sales industry while collaborating with the sales teams and their clients in the Midwest to provide: Created, delivered and implemented tools for upgrading diabetes management for clinics, health plans and institutions. Guided Programs toward alignment with regulatory and accrediting bodies. Coordinated services within integrated Health Networks (such as Advocate) to align patient care, education and diabetes management Associaton, etc.
