Daily Duties at Opti Medica Corporation:
Reporting to Sr. Vice President of Operations Managed operations, and supply chain, including: purchasing, planning, inventory management, contract manufacturers, manufacturing engineering, and logistics. Supervised 16 employees; master schedules; managed top-dollar key-suppliers; Great Plains Dynamics ERP liaison and re-implementation leader. Indirect reporting consisted of over 30 employees. Ensured factory capacity by anticipating program need, planning and preparing resources to meet needs of programs.Monitor compliance with program plans and schedules, including milestones and performance. Maintain appropriate cost-effective ERP/MRP to support all material requirements of the business. Ensure tooling, assembly work instructions and process instructions are in place to meet product requirements and specifications. Ensure that the appropriate procurement, stores, inventory, and inventory control, material handling, packaging, shipping & receiving are in place. Facilitate decision-making, resolve conflicts and build/optimize cross-functional team efforts to assure that all manufacturing and corporate objectives are met.
