Daily Duties at Majore International:

Procured orders through direct marketing, network and relationship building with buying houses/ buying agents ▪ Increased sales through participation in many global trade fairs including Milan fair in 1999, Messe Dusseldorf (Germany), the prestigious Indian handicrafts and gifts fair conducted Bi – annually (IHGF Spring / Autumn) consecutively for a period of five years. Executed orders by out sourcing to various specialist vendors in many remote corners of India while supervising the production throughout with consistent annual growth of over 10 % in the first 3 years •Evaluate vendor reliability, develop new supply sources as needed ▪ Established and managed a furniture manufacturing unit in New Delhi to undertake confidential sampling work and manufacture special custom specific and high priority orders. ▪ Managed export procedures for the business including; sourcing, production, quality control, inspection,, banking, documentations and shipping Negotiate prices and compare the quality and prices of various vendors before placing orders with the best facility. ================================================= 2) Manage price negotiation, planning, production, inventory control, quality control and factory control 6) Develop expertise to support growth for new projects on a continuous basis 11) Order materials and services as per negotiated and appropriately approved 12) Review quotations 22) Select and manage suppliers, identify core suppliers, and classify suppliers 23) Collect and analyze market information to understand the trend of supply and price in the market ================================================= 1) Manage an assigned team of sales associates 2) Work with the Sales team to forecast sales figures for the company 3) Oversee recruitment, training, and development of sales staff and achievement of established sales goals and revenue objectives 4) Identify and mentor key team members 6) Supervise sales associates, monitor sales in relation to financial goals, prepare and deliver sales materials, and organize and/or attend exhibits and other promotions 11) Maintain and expand relationships with strategically important large customers and oversee achievement of sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives for this group of customers 12) Represent the entire range of company products to these assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned strategic customer needs and expectations are met by the company 17) Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts 28) Develop, manage and nurture new business accounts and partnerships to accomplish profit and volume goals 35) Troubleshoot issues within the sales process 41) Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards 48) Oversee strategic objectives defined by company management 49) Manage the efforts and activities of the Sales Department in alignment with corporate revenue goals and objectives 51) Monitor records and reports ? including shipping, receiving and order fulfillment ? to ensure customer satisfaction 52) Develop, prepare and deliver sales materials, trade show exhibits, conference appearances and other promotional programs 55) Maintain contracts and relations with major accounts, outlets, wholesalers, vendors, and other distributors/business partners 56) Liaise with other business units for completion of day-to-day administrative and operational issues 57) Develop and implement distribution strategies, reselling agreements and other growth opportunities 58) Develop, manage and nurture new business accounts and partnerships to accomplish profit and volume goals 61) Analyze the activities and performance of all sales staff 64) Analyze the effectiveness of sales programs as well as recommend and implement changes based on findings 65) Maximize relationships with key retail and wholesale partners
