Daily Duties at Majore International:
▪ Extensive experience with sourcing plastic raw materials from Europe, US, Middle East and Asia for the Indian market • Supplier relationships, contract term enforcement/management, supplier performance, supplier development ▪ Established factory and operations to convert recycled plastic materials to make raw materials for various applications involving mainly LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP ▪ Worked closely with clients to learn their requirements for specific grades and additives to find solutions for compounding for specific applications and source the raw materials for them • Process improvements, strategic planning ▪ Coordinate staff and freight carriers to maximize productivity and efficiency ▪ Managed administrative/financial/sales and marketing functions for the company Participate and attend various trade shows/Conferences/Seminars for market research and building and expanding network of associates. ------------------------------------------------- 1) Procure raw materials and ingredients through the development and implementation of commodity strategies plans and the management of supplier relationship 2) Manage price negotiation, planning, production, inventory control, quality control and factory control. 3) Implement procurement strategy and policies 4) Forecast procurement needs 7) Monitor macro trends in supplier and contract base and implement plans to react 8) Build and develop relationships with key suppliers and customers 9) Lead the procurement group in all phases 10) Identify and develop training opportunities 13) Prepare purchase requisitions, approve and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policy and negotiated terms and conditions 14) Discuss defective or unacceptable new goods or services with users, vendors and others to determine cause of problem and take corrective and preventative action 15) Ensure supplier compliance with site and company requirements for safety 16) Manage vendor relationships and assist in building effective partnerships 17) Assist department in developing and implementing purchasing strategies for products 18) Deal with suppliers and brokers 19) Develop and review purchase requests and ensure authorization as necessary to facilitate the timely purchase of new materials 20) Help to lower the cost and secure agreements 21) Liaise with the Accounts Payable Department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices, as necessary for the business with the supplier 24) Skilled in negotiations and possessing high integrity, ethical principles and temperament to encourage team work ------ Sales ------ 5) Supervise Sales Department activities, including supervising contracts, driving sales revenue, managing customer and vendor relations and related sales performance 21) Assess, clarify and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis 22) Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel 25) Administer practices and procedures to enhance operations 28) Develop, manage and nurture new business accounts and partnerships to accomplish profit and volume goals 35) Troubleshoot issues within the sales process 36) Share successes and foster an atmosphere of success 51) Monitor records and reports ? including shipping, receiving and order fulfillment ? to ensure customer satisfaction 52) Develop, prepare and deliver sales materials, trade show exhibits, conference appearances and other promotional programs 55) Maintain contracts and relations with major accounts, outlets, wholesalers, vendors, and other distributors/business partners 56) Liaise with other business units for completion of day-to-day administrative and operational issues 58) Develop, manage and nurture new business accounts and partnerships to accomplish profit and volume goals 62) Conduct analysis to manage sales performance against corporate objectives and market developments 65) Maximize relationships with key retail and wholesale partners 66) Conduct regular analysis on pricing effectiveness and recurring trends and create actionable item lists based on findings 115) Build peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel • Additional attributes – Extremely hard working and dedicated, proactive and detail focused, can work efficiently and effectively under pressure to meet tight deadline.
