Daily Duties at Commodity Futures Trading Comm:
Executive responsibility for budget formulation, compliance, and reviews. Actively and cooperatively engaged with internal and external customer base. Administered Commission-wide administrative, logistics, and facilities support services programs in support of a headquarters in Washington, DC and four regional offices in Chicago, New York City, Kansas City, and Minneapolis. Managed a $2M budget and a staff of over 22 personnel. Directed an office responsible for agency-wide purchasing management; equipment maintenance, repair, and disposal; space management and office relocations; audio-visual services and conference room management; facilities maintenance management; transportation services; warehouse operations; reproduction services and sign age management; mail management; general and office supply management; physical and personal security programs (access control, key control, and photo identification); lease management; and Occupant Emergency Plans (OEP) and Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP) management. Supervises a senior level management staff that includes (2) Headquarters-Deputy Directors and (2) Regional-Deputy Directors. Coordinates budget and logistical resource support for regional offices and facilities in Washington, DC; New York City; Kansas City; Chicago; and Minneapolis. Directly responsible for daily facility upkeep, security, and space management for a 200,000 square foot, 7 floor facility.
