Daily Duties at Rose Training Institute:
Provided classroom instruction on medical techniques for the drawing of blood and collection of samples, such as correctly and positively identify the patient, choose the appropriate equipment for obtaining the sample, select and prepare the site for collection, collect the sample and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Correctly label the sample and transport it to the lab in a timely manner, using appropriate handling procedures. I had to create my course outline and syllabus, present class lectures and educational demonstrations, prepare course benchmarks such as quizzes and exams and maintain student grades/attendance reports. . Initiates purchase requisitions for supplies, materials, and equipment; ensures preventive maintenance program for equipment is in place. Assigns lesson to students and corrects homework; administers tests to evaluate achievement of students in technical knowledge and practical skills; records results, and issues reports to students and school.
