Daily Duties at Nisshinbo Automotive Manufacturing, Inc.:

Responsible for managing 12 direct vendors, and 25 total vendors. Responsible for translating the requirements of seven brake-system suppliers and ten vehicle OEM manufacturers. Received product from ten different countries, and shipped disc pads to five different countries. Planned and directed activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for disc pad manufacturing industrial processes and material testing. Developed and initiated standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation. Devised sampling forms, and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data. Established program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities. Developed and implemented methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devised methods to assess cost and responsibility. Directed inspectors and dynamometer testing operators. Compiled and wrote training specifications on quality control activities. Developed incoming material inspection standards. Reviewed process control standards developed by manufacturing. Performed process flow audits. Oversaw the calibrations system of testing equipment throughout the plant. Also, oversaw all of the above activities associated with vendor, in a process of vendor management.
