Daily Duties at Dictaphone Corporation:

As Senior Technical Support Engineer, Melbourne, FL: Team lead overseeing 3 other group members, providing coordination of group resources in support of Large Scale centralized digital recording systems. Responsible for communications with manufacturing, R&D and SQA regarding all aspects of DX7000 product line. Assist in development of workarounds, hardware and software enhancement to improve product stability and functionality. Responsible for in depth testing on field reported issues and creation of appropriate service support tools to assist in resolution of complex environmental and telecommunications related issues. As Technical Support Engineer, Melbourne, FL : Relocation of nationwide support center. Responsible for all field service personnel on DX7000 product line. Additional responsibilities include working with manufacturing and 3rd party Radiology and PBX/Voicemail system integrators. Assisted in creation of service manuals and newsletters related to any Large Scale dictation systems. Provided on-site presence for BETA installations and assisting local field service personnel with resolution of complex integration/installation and environmental related issues. As Field Service Engineer, Stratford, CT: Responsible for nationwide support for all field service personnel on all Medical and EMS Analog and Digital recording products. Responsible for continued relationship with R&D/SQA in development and implementation of new features, software packages and integrations of DX7000. Responsible for on-site presence for BETA installations and assisting local field service personnel with resolution of complex integration/installation and environmental issues. As PRoduct Test/Technical Support Liason, Milford, CT: Promotion & relocation to Technical Support Services assigned as Technical Support Liaison between Technical Services and R&D/SQA departments for development of DX7000 product. Responsible for documentation and testing of product and accessories based on MRD and PRD, managing 16 product test users. Responsible for creation, modification and execution of Auto Test scripts. Responsible for collection of trace dumps and related data produced by testing scenarios. Responsible for regular meetings with R&D/SQA regarding test results and potential hardware and software issues that could disrupt user operations and cause premature failure. Responsible for regression testing. As Customer Service Field Representative, Austin, TX: Responsible for territory covering 150 mile radius of Austin. Performed on-site installation, including pulling cable, termination, electro-mechanical and component level repair of audio recording and word processing equipment used in Legal, Medical, Emergency Management including troubleshooting telecommunication issues. During this period, attended 7 separate courses of study encompassing all products sold by Dictaphone.
