Daily Duties at Oakwood Skilled Nursing Care And Rehabilitation Center:

To manage respiratory therapy department by adhering with compliance regulations, facility/department policies, and using appropriate safety measures in practice. Being a part of multidisciplinary health care team, assess all the patients admitted to determine the need of respiratory therapy and write respiratory care plans by working with multidisciplinary health care team. Participate in respiratory therapy procedures as needed and keep the nursing staff updated by providing inservices. procedural guidelines by providing in-services and participating in respiratory therapy, as needed. Ensure quality, safety, and appropriateness in care provided by working on the audit checks and reports. Being a part of first respond team, monitor and manage patients' electronic medical records to stay updated. Maintain communication with patients, families, colleagues, management, and vendors by using different means of communication.
