Daily Duties at Omaha Public School District:

Class Room remodeling, bid letting, Architect Selection for Design work, Sixteen (16) classroom addition for a three (3) story Addition to North High School for Building Design for Leeds Certification, Fire Alarm System for North High School. two (2) greenhouses for students at Northwest High School and at Blackburn High School.Review and inspected work of various contractors. Projects included the North High School Building Addition with 16 classrooms with Varana Construction, Omaha Architect RDG Architects, reviewed drawings on a Design and Build Contract, from the Foundation Drawings to Structural Super Structure. The Addition for four (4) stories was designed to be Leeds Certified Silver Award (first School in Nebraska to be Leeds Certified). OPS District was official was award the Silver on April 18, 2011. Private Funds were donated from various donors of North High School with Leeds Certification as requirement. • Directed morning job briefing with Contractor and Sub Contractors. • Monitor donations from private donor and cash expenditures for Addition. • Process contracts reimbursement for change orders, contractor’s invoices, prepared completion report for the District for Public School Board Hearings. Supervised the opening of bids for contract work by various contractors for the District. • Reviewed classroom walls covering, glass, paint colors, floor materials, etc, construction details, on weekly meetings using Green Technology, including mechanical and electrical systems, and recycling for the Leeds Certification.
