Daily Duties at E.I. Du Pont Company:

Spearheaded simultaneous multi-million-dollar chemical process improvement projects to ensure on time, within budget project completion. Responsible for project management from scope through pre-operation and start-up, including, site and facility planning, timelines, cost estimating, appropriation requests, control logic, conflict resolution, process design, instrumentation and piping, electrical classifications, CAD drawings, budgets, specifications, bills of material, project procurement, SAP order entry, delivery tracking, change control management, creation of bid packages, oversight of the bid process, vendor selection, contract negotiations and administration. Directly and indirectly accountable for the supervision of 20 plus construction personnel and 5-8 active projects with an emphasis on project safety and risk management, including electrical, environmental and process hazards. This position required the ability to learn quickly, collaboratively solve problems and then conceptualize a plan that utilized resources to meet deadlines.
