Daily Duties at Jones Day:
As a Summer Associate at Jones Day, I had the opportunity to work with many of the different legal departments including the Litigation department, the Tax department, the Antitrust department and the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation department performing various research and drafting memoranda. Upon becoming an Associate at Jones Day, I joined the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation department for which I performed ERISA and executive compensation work in corporate transactions (including mergers and acquisitions), prepared and reviewed retirement plans, including IRS documentation and compliance, drafted executive compensation and benefit packages including employment agreements and retirement/compensation packages, and assisted clients with structured purpose financings and securitizations.
