Daily Duties at American Renal Associates:

Enlisted to oversee day-to-day HR functions and assist in M&A process by providing guidance to managers and senior leadership regarding employee relations issues encompassing organizational development, personnel performance, compensation, succession planning, safety, and morale. Report directly to COO/CEO and supervise Payroll Manager, Payroll Specialist, Payroll Clerk, HR Generalist and HR Specialist. Work closely with professional employer organization (PEO), ADP TotalSource, to outsource benefits, workers’ compensation, and 401k administration and payroll processing. Develop and implement employment policies and draft staff handbooks based on state-specific regulatory requirements. Research, create, and deliver training courses and presentations on various topics including “Policy Jeopardy” and “Employment Law Basics.” Collaborate with executive team to devise long range plans, identify trends, and uncover implications on organizational strategy. Represent ARA in all grievance proceedings, ADA/FMLA assessments, and investigations.
